found the link for Lazur's stuff through Halfliquid at DA. I just wanted to have visual proof before I did anything. Never saw Lazur's work before really. Thanx to everyone for jumping on this ripper.

What amuses me is that these so called "Pixel Artists" cannot reconize Lazur's work immediately! 
I suggest you guys visit the GFXZone galleries once it comes back online and view some REAL pixel work.

Pixelblink, http://noadi-pixels.tk/ has the ferret under 'pixel art' that she ripped, and as soon as E_Blue comes online she can verify the scythe piece. She's been banned on DA for ripping lazur off 15 TIMES so I'm amused you don't believe this one is a lazur rip as well...Just wait a few days for gfxzone to come back up, or wait until a disgruntled friend of lazur or something gets wind of this. Then it'll be really fun.

It is 100% a rip, i would put my hands into fire for this. The original is on gfxzone.org, which atm is down. Should be up in a few days.On a sidenote: This has 34 colours, 2 are added to the original picture to pixel in "pxerin" and "erin smith" very faintly. The amiga 500 could only display 32 colours at once in the standard mode. And those colours are 12 bit. Meaning you only get hexnumbers like 00, 11, 22.... FF or 00, 10, 20... F0 if wrongly converted to the PC. The 2 added colours are the only ones that don't fit into that. Intruiging, isn't it.

Pixeling is a European phenomenon and all the great pixel artists past & present have been European. Lazur is a truely GREAT pixel artist from Poland and it makes me mad to see DUMBARSED Americans ripping his brilliant work. You should be ashamed you talentless, lazy creep.
Now I understand that Americans are only into INSTANT GRATIFICATION but Pixel Art it a SKILL that takes YEARS of practice.... if you want to be as great as LAZUR, STUDY pixels - don't rip...you lazy fool !!!

@ Monty Python reference: Fellow pixel-artist Ptoing spotted this rip and showed me this morning, and we've been surfing everywhere for this one pic which we weren't sure if it were Lazur's at the time, followed the trail to DA, and had a laugh at the quite more blatant Lazur rips. On the Mona Lisa piece, she claims she did the art is MSPAINT. 2:1 Amiga colours, in MSPAINT. IN A WEEK... It's a small wonder she ripped off one of the MOST WELL KNOWN AMIGA SCENE ARTISTS and so many pixel people we're all 'omg! this is perfect'. I guess no respect for history...
We were gonna post about this when gfxzone came back up so we had direct links, and get her banned in DA. I hope she's banned in here as well. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
BTW the animated little ferret picture is by pixel artist, Noadi, and the fighter scythe lady is by E_Blue ( not just the lineart ) and shame on you people who frequented pixelation but can't spot such blatant ripping. You should be more observant before you praise art well beyond the artistic skill of the artist to the skies.

Oh dear... you dared to post stolen artwork here also, my dear trailer trash girl.... Just for everybody else to know, this girl posted plenty of pictures made by the same author than this picture to Deviant Art and when she got caught, she deleted all of them asap :) This picture is made by a Polish underground pixel artist called Lazur, not by the person who claims to have done it. Shame on you.

For 34 colors... that stuff looks photographic. I would add a bit to the dithering in the sky. Also, what's the deal with the large black area, seems... I dunno why is it there?

Hahah, nice one. I have to say, technically it's amazing, the water looks so real, the background is great too. I like how you can see the bones/muscle underneath the skin, which is textured amazingly by the way. Definitely a favourite.

My 5 year old little brother just walked by and said "Cool! Dinosaurs!!!" I just laughed at him...Well, I don't know what it'd look like, but I guess that'd be how they'd do it. Nice dithering and AA. Got great detail in this.
