Simple and clean, though I agree with Manupix about adding some shadows. You might also want to add more pots to break! :D

 I like it, it reminds me of Mother 3.

@Halfie: Thank you for pointing that pixel out. Also those stairs do lead to a second floor, I just couldn't think of a way to show that.

Very nicely pixelled, but the volume is difficult to read. Maybe some cast shadows would help.

 Yes you could, but I like it the way it is. The trashcan is missing or has an extra pixel on one corner, your pick.

 Your right I can probably fit a lot more junk in there.

 It's not full of junk. It's a well furnished room, the floor is spotless, the tables are clean. Is there an upstairs, or is that a balcony to look over the junk?

I like it. It's simple but pleasing. Reminds me of earthbound.
