Add a few frames where we do not see the face. The rotation from appearance to dissappearance of the face is almost 5 seconds long whereas from disappearance to reappearance it's barely a second.

If you're unsure about the timing you could add another temporary animation where you view the head from the top as a simple circle and then let a guide point rotate around the circle and project that to the side view.
