 Thanks for the advice! The sharp highlights that make a horizontal line across his coat is actually a zipper, though.

Nice test ;)

I think you could do without outlines on the lit sides.
The top of the head might use the next darker tone.

The things protruding from / behind his ears are not obvious. Horns? Antennas? Wings? Why the sharp highlights?

Also, watch that banding!
