This is for a small NES type project I'm working on called "Generic Squadron X Ultra" the main character, Kid Childson, is the little guy in orange.
I like it but the inside of the cockpit seems a little empty. I want to leave it clean enough that characters on the floor will not get lost in the clutter. Any suggestions peoples?
EDIT: I added some depth to the middle area and changed the computer man's face. (the computer is your like Sgt. like Sgt. Pepper is to Fox. He sends you on missions to planets... he IS the ship...
EDIT: added another GJE ship in the BG |
I think you need another, darker shade in the background of the cockpit (probably gray, but you could play around with the hue to get it right). The white border on the top two monitors make them stand out more, so you should probably do that for the other ones. And then add a darker hue for the shadow, like under and around the desks. Yeah.
Another thought: consider making Kid Childson's dark purple hues something different. He looks too much like the mice, and also blends in - somewhat - with the electronic chassi of the ship.
