I meant that it's OK to do use others' colours, I wasn't implying that you did it.

I didn't omg... - -' for real man I didn't. I did it once with "samurai's life" but I swear I didnt now. The palette has few colors, and everyone who know about color know that the only great ones are between blue and green, browns and a little red. In that pallete at least.
Hey fair enough, it's quite normal to be inspired by other's work, that's one of the good things about PJ :D
It's also quite common to ahve a go with somebody else's colours, as long as you say so in the description.
No, I swear not, I was waiting someone to say that ... I just got the browns from the extremes and the colors I used in the first wip in the Forum thread.
Looks VERY unfinished. Also I personally find the subject matter a bit unambitious.
Are the colours taken form a3um's spider piece?
Yeah I got that comments, it was hard to texture without too much colors. I am working on it =) thanks
The general concept, palettes and setup are all pretty good IMO, but in some areas the piece looks very much like a rough WIP rather than a finished product. The lack of AA and some rough edges/shapes are the culprits there.
That said, this is definitely a solid piece. I just think it could stand a bit more finessing. ;)
thats a joke =) it was unexpected to be a bottle cause everyone says its a chalice.
the tale says jesus drank from a chalice, no! he drank a full bottle.
reads more like a genie's lamp than the holy grail, since it's a bottle and not a chalice. cool lighting, plenty of clean up work still left though
Its a room and in the middle table there is this bottle ( holy grail or graal ). There is guard there ->. Axe there <-
and the only light sorce is the holy grail. Sorry I coudnt make it better with just 12 colors - -' a3um could do it and I really loved it but I coudnt do something as great.
Could you explain what's happening here exactly?
