50x50 px 54 frames. The trouble I went through to optimise this image in photoshop was insane. I made it as an avatar for a friend on deviant art. but deviant art has a filesize limit of 15kb and GIF's don't play nice with (a very lazy) 30colours, with 58 frames that the original had I think the optimising was more of the art/technical skill of this piece rather than the actual animation its self XD The piece features my friends character "Jeanie" http://saeleagrace.deviantart.com/#/d594rh1 if anyone has any comments on any good optimising techniques (for example if you think you could optimise this even further) Please let me know, but i'm confident that this is pushing the limits of file size vs quality..

I dont like the cigarette getting black outlines while yawning, but the expressions are nice!

i didn't spend 4 hours optimising for nothing yknow. =P I'm quite competent with the photoshop save for web feature, i just meant if anyone knows of any command line GIF optimisers or photoshop plugins with optimasation algorithms or something of this nature to please go ahead and share

a background is just not good enough. it's transparency or i start removing frames. =P

Give it a non-transparent background and PS should be able to optimize it much further.

... and PJ has a (preview) limit of 10kb. Obviously it's in the gallery fine, but it won't show up on the front page.
