Next, and possibly last (maybe just Escher in the future), in the Painter series game mockups. Based on VanGogh's work and due to his extensive and varied work I found having to make way more screens than I ever thought I would make to have a good balance of his work. Using VanGogh's 'daubbing' painting style made for very ugly pixelart so the visuals only try to convey the sense of color and spirit of his painting and in no way try to recreate his paintings. This mockup is designed as an English game but uses French just to set a mood. --- Camille- A point-n-click mystery adventure. Gameplay- After a visit to the VanGogh Museum the player dreams of the images and life of Vincent Van Gogh and travels through his paintings to discover places, solve mysteries and meet people in a limited time of 8 game hours (8 hours of sleep being average for most people). --- Special thanks to Jinn for help with colors and to the French PJers who helped with the generic French terms, the PJ SERVER for being down and finally giving me a little time to finally finish this piece and all others who provided such great feedback on the WIP thread HERE

I like almost everything about this piece except for the white outlines around 'important' objects. It's just too jarring and I find it incredibly distracting from all the fine pixelling around and inside those outlines and has the effect of 'flattening' those objects and making them look a bit like stickers.

Great work, lovely to see it finished. The Van Gogh swirls ended up working well in the background of screen #2. The Marguerite portrait is probably my favourite part, has a really cool style to it.

This is the best one of the series in my opinion.

I was suprised to see that in the last scene the ghost speaks in Turkish.
