There is a human on that sphere, and the sphere drains like from humans. Works better with vampires and mages.

Yet to be animated.

You're starting to refine and unify your style. I really like how this one turned out.

Nice pixeling. Great ambience too.

Wow, your style is so unique and inspiring! I love how it looks both soft and pixel-y at the same time. Nicely done!

 Really cool. Love it!

Joe/Wrath Designs (Level 7 Sheriff) at 9/26/2012 1:00:26 PM

Awesome! Although the scene is cropped, the sense of space is retained.

nice color and shading. that seems to be your forte. work on structure before rendering! it will give your pieces a LOT of power.

Lighting gives it a great atmosphere

user
Gecimen (Level 9 Boss) at 9/21/2012 1:44:08 AM

super nice except for one thing, too many colors on the edge of the sphere (9 :O). I think you should simplify it a little.

This is super cool

I like it enough to fave. Great palette. I do agree about the lines and most of the critiques about it being unpolished. I like how you did the texture of the gray walls. I agree with Frostpumpkin about dithering the light emanating from the sphere.

They aren't orange circles. It's piping/tubing with what appears to be lights/clear areas, showing some kind of orange liquid inside. or just heat, hence the glow-liek appearance.  There is also orange light behind the tubes.

I like this, very neat. : )

Yeah, I agree that the piece looks great but I have no idea what it is unless you explain it. I've seen this a few times in the WIP and only recently did I gather that there's a person in there. I also can't decipher what the orange circles at the top are.

I just got owned :l

There're some issues with the lines. Anyway, I love the use of the palette and the light job

user
Frost (Level 6 Serial Killer) at 9/19/2012 4:11:27 PM

You manage to nail the mood pretty perfect in most of your pictures, but at the same time you seem to be a tad bit sloppy with your lines. Take more time cleaning up your stuff.

You should also try to use better software, it can have a huge positive impact on both your workflow and works. Sure, you can carv awesome wood scultupres with a blunt knife, but it sure as hell is better to use a sharper one...

The curves are very wonky for a machine-made metal structure. Basically what frost pumpkin said, and is often said, you've detailed and smoothed things before establishing the exact shapes

user
philippejugnet (Level 5 Sniper) at 9/19/2012 3:14:39 PM

its getting the energy from the human, transforming it into light

user
philippejugnet (Level 5 Sniper) at 9/19/2012 3:03:57 PM

 yu :) updated

It's hard to tell this is a human in the sphere, like FrostPumpkin pointed out I think it's too sketchy.

Also, I don't understand where or what is the machine that is being powered.

Other than that, the colours are nice

user
FrostPumpkin (Level 6 Serial Killer) at 9/19/2012 11:06:05 AM

The problem is that it looks pretty sketchy for a finished piece. You should spend more time on details and try to really define shapes.

Also, the character in the center really seems unfinished and it looks like it didn't even changed since the early WIP stages. For the blue/lighten parts, you have a nice set of colors for dithering, try to make this part of you drawing more smooth and polished as it is the main element on your picture and composition. By the way, you have 3 colors left to add to help you smooth it up :)

I really like the concept and realisation, let's say it's a really good start :D

I am such a failure with AA... Any reccomendations?
