Very good, great animation as usual.
And yeah, instant mental link to fool's dog..
Watching this is as good as owning an actual dog. It performs the range of dog activities (sans maybe scratching behind the ear with a leg, peeing on a fire hydrant, and snoozing) with grace and flair. As a cartoon, the dog's construction feels a bit flat and abstract, a style that's been popular for a while and is perhaps overdone. The conservation of form is excellent , especially considering all the dog's subtle movements. It gets a bit dicey when he lowers his head to sniff along the ground (the head basically snaps to a different flat arrangement). Overall, it's very entertaining and full of personality. I'm excited every time I see you've made a new animation!
You captured the dog stupidity well. Reminds me of Fool's dog animation too.

I zoomed to 4X and left it running at work on my 2nd monitor and everyone that walked by had to stop, admire and rave about it.

It's so cute! So smoothly animated too! The spot changing is a bit irksome but nothing to impacting.
