The preview is scaled 150% or so, which is not allowed (in its raw form) and the image would not have been approved had the moderators noticed it. Scaling up with full integers 2x,3x etc are ok, but (wonky) sizes that disrupts the pixel integrity renders an image NPA (non pixel art). This applies to both the main image as well as the preview. So just go with a bigger x1 or a smaller x2 area, and you don't have to use the full 100x100 size if that doesn't work well. :)
