This is something I've been meaning to try for a while.  I've been enjoying Drazelic's isometric(ish) work for a while, so I thought I'd have a try at a general style imitation with my character Xeon (with especial reference to these: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/67350.htm).  It's, uh, well, not all that successful, really.  Especially the palette.  But it was a fun thing to try out.

What do you think?

 I agree with Jim16, the foot does seem a little dark, but I can't say anything bad about heros with scarves!

It is successful. The stance is somehow weird, like he can't be at balance like this but it's also impressive.
