The only thing that bugs me is its chest looks too flat. To fix that I'd either make the outlines where the fluff of feathers is on his chest darker or makes them stick out a bit further.

nice! The only thing I'd change.. is that I wouldn't line up the front of it's feet.. seems like they should be offset a little bit...

Hi!

Great job! it really looks like a chocobo from square pixel artists :D , and i love the color choice and the use of shadows for the feathers, my only critq is the rear leg, it seems to hang just above the front leg, and it's too small compared to the front leg
