A year or so ago, me and a couple of friends were planning on making a short movie. In the movie we played characters fighting with bokkens. My character was Master Tora (Tora = Tiger). I liked the concept of my character (duh, I thought him up ) and made some sketches of him. And later decided to make a fighter sprite of him. The sprite turned out well overall. Though I'm not so happy on how the pants turned out. Sadly, we never got to finishing the movie =/

I have heard of Samurai Deeper Kyo. Though, I haven't read/watched it. I checked up Benitora and there's only two very small similarities. They both have the wird 'tora' in their name and have tiger-ish stripes on their clothing. However, Benitora has a smaller amount of stripes but they are broader and are red not black. he also has a scarf with stripes on. Master Tora has the chinese sign for tiger on his back, I don't know if he shares this with Benitora since I couldn't find a picture showing his back. Other than those things there are no similarities what-so-ever.

yea i agree and plus have you ever heard of samurai deeper kyo and this is basicly a varied copy of my fav character benitora so this is insulting and sick minded...

Nice start... Main critique - waste 40colours... 16 - 24 shoud do the same trick - even more so seeing you dithered the jacket...
Pants should look a lot better with a highlight colour eg. at the knees and some work on folds...
