This is totally cool. My only criticism is that some of the cast shadows, especially the big one cast by the chair, seem to be going in the wrong direction. But I could be wrong; cast shadows do weird things.

Someone below mentioned having the light cast by a car driving past. They're right - that would make a cool animation, but trying to animate this scene with a moving light source makes me twitchy just thinking about it.

The shadow effects here simply blow me away.

Now dont you just love to imagine that suddenly a large dark figure will pop into sight by the window, holding a huge butcher knife, ready to STAB.
*Peter Gunn theme*

Hahaha, brilliant! It does have that b&w style and private eye feeling!

@sensation- film noir uses unrealistic light sources to create drama/suspense with no reasonable explanation. I imagined a flashing neon sign across the street as the secondary light source.

hmmm, where is the light source coming from? if it's a light house or soemthing then it looks fine; otherwise, if it's a car driving by, it'd look much better if you made the light move across the room. that'd also give it a nicer animation as well

Yeah, another nice joint room. I really like the jalousie and light and shadow work on the room.

That looks rather cool.

To work with light is difficult, but light and animation, looking so great together, is wonderful!!

Brilliant work jalonso.  Sam Spade would fit right in.

I hope you keep up your amazing clip with these Joint rooms. I look forward to every new addition.
