back from a short hiatus :) thanks for the kind reception anyoneon a side note, i'm not sure if there's much of any pixel work to expect from me any too soon. i'm generally not very productive (the recent dump pretty much summarized the whole last year) but additionally am also pretty busy with other stuff these days

I remember seeing this a while back and loving the blues used on that toucan. I still do. And of course, the textures are wonderful. I also like the subtle signatures, of all things. I'm, for some reason, a fan of little things like that which make me look at the picture longer. The smaller details. Finding the signatures made me have a "Where's Waldo" sort of moment which I love.

Yeah seen this before - great stuff. Dunno if it was inteded but it looks a bit stiff like carved into wood or something. The shading is simply amazing and the pic remains sweet no matter what zoom level I'm in due to that shading. Oh well enough flattering for you :)

I remember seeing this a long time ago, although it may have just been a work in progress at that stage, I can't remember.
It is brilliantly coloured, but I have some problems with the line art of Pep's that just won't disappear. Like the way the snake has no three dimensional affect on the tribe guy's legs as it passes through it, and how the hands sit awkwardly which is emphasised by the clear flip (which works in other instances in this piece, but not here I believe).
Again, brilliant colouring, so stylish and smooooth.

This is one of the truest examples of line art being brought to life that I've ever seen. You took everything pep did and brought it to life. The dithering and color choice are almost too much goodness for two eyes. I'd have to agree with Helm, and follow his lead with a 6/6 and favorite.

I'm out of words. Everything I look on the piece is nearly perfectly done. The outline, the shading, the AA, the color choice... Gee, I can't say anything constructive, but it would be an error leave this picture without saying it's now one of my favourites.

You've done justice to Pep's brilliant lineart. The floor alone is a great piece. Terrific work on selecting some vibrant colors to match the bold style of the lines. Wowzers.
