An old pixelart made for Pixeldam. I post it here for comments since you must be a citizen to comment there. For those unfamiliar, Pixeldam supplies the sidewalks and background, here I only show the pixels I created. I don't remember the color count on this.

Like the others said, this gives off a happy feeling and most of it is well-pixelled, but the ground looks scrappy and unpolished, and the wooden parts lack a highlight or shading.
This is really charming. I really appreciate the amount of detail that has been put into this. It really makes it feel like a snapshot of a real neighbourgood corner. Little things really jump out at me, like the wrought iron balcony out front, the sign next to the garbage bin, the graffiti on the fence, the supports for the green sign on the side of the building.
Indeed it is a bit oversaturated. I did this on purpose because the iPod poster was sticking out too much from the rest and since that's a real life item I thought it best to match to that rather than the other way around.
