He-He… You do understand me not correctly a bit. This is not a fish, it is only his skeleton - FishBone. And this is our crew logo. You guessed with color stripes, it really symbolizes the ZX-Spectrum but does not prohibit him.

No problem. It's just a standard graphics mode. But using gigascreen & multicolor graphics mode, you can achieve some lifting restrictions.

Do you think i use 15 colors? Seemed to me that the need to specify the all used colors. Is not it?

Yes, the wings are similar a bit as in AeroSmith Although in truth, the idea was taken from another place. I am glad to see that the work is enjoyed.

p.s. Regarding scanlines, do not worry, this is only an element of decoration. Interlace is available on virtually any 8-bit computer.

Yes you are right, Commodore palette consists of 16 colors, but is not forbidden to use the FLI and other graphics mode. In this case, 28 colors turned out for the addition of TV-effect scanline. This is not original screenshot of commodore c64, simple stilization.

FLI, or Flexible Line Interpretation, can be used to increase the number of unique colors which can appear in an 8x8 or 8x4 block on the screen. This mode is occasionally extended further with sprites and/or interlacing two bitmaps together (as in SHIFLI or UIFLI). These modes usually cause the left-most 24 pixels of the display to become unusable.

I would not like excuses , but the depiction of graphics on the ZX-Spectrum platform has several limitations and do not always have the opportunity to put color pixel into the right place where we would like. For more information about ZX-Spectrum graphics mode you can read on the wiki.

Heh   No, basic lines have been created with help photoshop and have been finished later in specific editor "multiArtist", which support ZX-Spectrum graphics mode. This picture can be shown at real zx-spectrum hardware and will be used in our intro.

This is't simple lot of space. This is screenshot of real zx-spectrum screen (256x192 px) with a bit of border. This is my first publish here, and I do not know all the rules here, but the next time I keep in mind. ;)
