Wow! First of all, that's a really clever take on the energy requirements—why not take advantage of animal power? Also, hats off for having the courage to go with an isometric perspective on this one. It's a shelter that's probably better suited for introverts or a single person, but I can definitely see it working well for them :)

Thank you both! My original intention was to keep the palette even smaller - just 8 color to give it more of a retro feel. In the end, though, I went with 11 colors because I wanted to include some CRT screen artifacts, which required several shades of lime and green.

Excellent use of the palette and very clever use of dithering, gradients and light, well done!

Great, I am glad that I could help. Actually, IMHO the whole composition looks much "tighter" and even better in this ratio now :)

Loving the palette and the expressions, well done... but I hate to say this is not the required 16:9 challenge ratio as 360x180 is 2:1. So maybe you could adjust it and just crop it to 320x180 pixels. Other than that, it's awesome.

Thank you! I planned to add more frames to the animation and animate more objects, but I was running out of time. I'm glad you like it!

Thank you so much! This one was really tough to put together. I wanted to include both the sky and the lake so "rattiepunk" was pretty much the only suitable palette. Originally, I wanted to use a lower resolution - my favorite "Pixel Art Full HD" 192×108 pixels - but I later decided to expand the canvas to give the composition more room.

Brilliant! You've managed to capture the spirit of Alphonse Mucha's paintings using an extremely low resolution and just 18 colors. Although there are some really nice and more detailed entries in this weekly challenge, for me this is clearly the best of the bunch. This is my territory; the contrast and the use of the required palette are exceptional. Well done!

Excellent work. I couldn't finish this week's challenge on time, partly because I found the required palette quite difficult to work with. But hands down, you made the best use of it, especially given the isometric projection. Including characters at this scale and resolution is quite an achievement as well. Well done.

Beautiful use of light and reflections. And the color palette is used very cleverly as well.

Thank you all! I'm still new to the cartoon/comic style, so this piece was almost impossible to finish. Looking at it now, there are a few details I'd do differently, but overall I'm really happy with the result.

That is a really nice, I'd say cleverly bare and "minimalistic" wood texture, using the right colors and the right clusters at right places. Also, I like the overall layout, typography and design, well done.

Thank you both! As for the “red” or “orange” color in the required palette, at first I wanted to avoid it completely because I felt it didn’t belong in the ramp. However, I later realized it could work well as a highlight in certain areas.

In addition to what Tipleloop said... it's perfectly fine to upscale preview image, but the main image should remain in 1:1 scale so please reupload it. And by the way, both sprites look really good and you managed to keep color count low, well done!

As for the rules...

"Canvas Size - Max 1600x160px."

I'm ok with that but is it really meant to be 1600px wide? It's almost full HD width  Just want to make sure that it should not be perhaps 160x160px instead.
