I really love the colours you used for the tiles and the background is really cool even if I not sure of the colour choice for this part.

There is one thing that I find disturbing, the last layer of water at the bottom seem curved instead of flat, I guess it comes from the shore not being square but being curved itself. Or maybe it is the dynamic of the background that causes this effet. Anyway, lovely piece !

Yes ! But I really like it. At the original size, the harshness of the land contrasts very well with the calm water. Though, I agree, it definitely doesn't make a good texture for sand, I like how it creates volumes and shadows on the sand.

I must confess this was an experiment and I think it is a bad execution of a good idea.

To be more precise, I'd say that the outline of the tiles on the top-left corner is too dark and it doesn't blend in the palish surrounding. As for the straw, I think it lacks texture, which makes it appear really flat. (The rest of this house on the right lacks depth on an overall level, in my opinion)

But, I repeat myself, I really like your piece !

I really like this clean pixelling and the calmess that this piece evokes through your color choice. What I like less though are the grey tiles at the top left corner and the roof of straws on the right side. It does't really fit with the rest of the piece.

Very nicely done ! So, is there a possibility that your rpg mockups turn into an actual game soon ?

Nice idea, but you seem to have rushed through the realisation. Here are a few problems I can see :

The lighting is inconsistent : Appart from the trees, one could not tell where the light source is, and the shadows on the crystals and the soil are in contradiction with the the shadows of the trees. The trees have some kind of depth, but not the other elements, the waterfall seems really flat.

Nice one. It has a real character. I can see a few things that could be ameliorated though :

The head is fine, and I like how you did the eraser, but the bottom of the character is lacking detail and therefore looks a bit flat in comparison of the rest of the body.

The different parts also seem to have been pasted artificially to each other. I mean that the chest muscles don't look like they have been drawn in the proper perspective, and the upper part of the arm on the left just seem to hover over the body instead of being attached to it.

Thank you. As for color sense, for the moment I stick to pre-set palettes but I have hope that some day I can find my own colors.

Well, I don't really feel like that. I still only do what I can, and not what I want... at all. I'm more a doodler than a drawer.
