Message

   While browsing the harddrive of a school computer, I found a strange image called 'pwned.png'. I thought it was interesting enough to keep so I did and now it's become a collab. Each person can do one frame of the comic (numbered 1-8, in the same manner as reading) in pixel art, meaning that there will be 8 participants. 

While doing a frame, be sure to:

Remember that one person has a hat, the other doesn't. You can modify the hat, but one person MUST have a hat.
Keep facial expressions intact. 
Don't change the text or typos, though you may re-pixel or move it if you wish.

	Thanks. It's not that often I sprite for entertainment, so I tried to cram as many techniques I've been meaning to try into it as I could. That sentence seems so complicated. :/

	I claim frame #7 but am confuserated about the palette. Rules say re-use colors but Dopple and Souly's are quite different?

	The "noob" jumps into the "maet" and lands on a spike, and yells out that he's actually in maet. Immediately the other guy jumps in getting gored by the spikes. :B

	Nah, let everyone have their own take on what they think the person looks like. All we know is that the "noob" has a hat on. So as long as they keep that, there shouldn't be a problem.

	I think the rules are going to be revised to incorporate various styles, so it's all good. But let's keep some things similar between frames so you can tell who's who; the hat will probably be a good help there, no matter what it looks like.

	i like how the frames blend together but seems like the transition from blue to red could be a bit smoother maybe? it also kind of confuses the scene because it looks like these guys are in the foreground in frame 8 and some other dude is jumpin into the maetz in the distance. i like the idea for sure, just seems there might be a better way to make it flow.....i don't know, its 7 ma :P maybe you should just ignore me

	not finished yet but thought I'd post progress so others might connect Totally digged the current palletes and style so I tried to stick with that while adding my own style will do more to the ground + might take this oppertunity to have a go at AA.

	Odd, thought I had posted claiming number one. WELL, good thing it's early in the maernin. Noone's taken it, I hope. Not done yet, and half-hoping Jalonso inspires a better cliff. Awesomefun, though. Props to el monk for startin' this.

	Looks really good, Equinoxx, but I can't really tell what the mouth is supposed to be; maybe try to define that a bit more or reaffirm the cartoony style there if you get time. Great work so far, everyone!

	Thanks MoD I agree with you on the mouth so i tried adding a highlight. it's supposed to be the lowerlip going over the upperone ... tried AA, failed miserably and decided that for now, AA is just not for me tweaked my background to have that groovy circles and crosses thing going on. also added an idea for a transition between Jals frame and Dopple's frame just and idea might be dumb I dunno

	Eq, I am going to extend your light colored lines where the copy is into a metal fence and gate upon which I will pick up your vine ornaments by making a vine (realistic greens) growing over the fence. I'll use this to break my frame from yours and dopple's. Souly, recolor to a more suitable palette but keep your style? Sab, I'm going to rework my spikes to something closer to yours, but not copied.

	I had something with a more similar style to Souly's, but I recolored it with the new colors and it looks just fine. Image!

	I'm intentionally leaving the sides (right and bottom) not totally done, 'cause I assumed dear ol' souly would feel pressure to edit his frame to suit style, and felt like givin' him the liberty of a little less to match. Souly, feel totally free to masticate my frame to help yours suit the general style, if need be :] P_O, could I be so bold as to suggest better matching your frame with MoD's? I like the continuity theme Jal set, rllz. It'd be coo to see that used throughout, what with frames co-mingling and stuff. Awesome, Jal :) I got a leeeettle carried away copying YOUR spikes, I must admit. Kickass, MoD, them's a sweet frame. On a side note, could it be Kingdom of Loathing that inspired this comic? It's a lil game that uses meat as currency, and I'd imagine they often get newbs asking for meat. Hence the wanting to kill them. 	I think it's the magic one. Someone should go through it and unify the palettes and save it as a gif sometime. As for the game question, I have no idea as to who the original author of it was. It could have been, though.

	Guess its first come frst served now. I consolidated the colors and saved as a gif for all. Nice job Suicidale, you think maybe you can do something about the harsh black outline, pleeeze. Also why not fit the 'gah' so that it ties in better with the next frame? Suggestions only not orders Souly, Maybe all you need is to change your blue shades to the two used throughout? P_O, will you complete the circle of the mon on yours. As Sab said your sky is a little off with all the others. All the colors on the lower left hand side are shared colors. Colors over a particular frame are colors only used on that frame. These may/could/should be revised maybe. I changed the colors on my frame so that it was more interesting. Added two colors for Eq to use as repayment for the awesome cliff he provided. Of course he's changed it now so I must change mine to match. Make any changes as needed on your frame if needed and I'll do the color unification again. I hope its not me making the colors go dark.
