I never was a part of the scene, nor did I own an Amiga when all the cool people did and it wasn't untill around 2005 when I first had my hands on deluxePaint (dos) and tried it for a while until I had to let my "dosBox" go. I never finished a drawing, nor did I actually even try. I just played with it every now and then. So, I had no longer access to a windows/dos machine, and I didn't get dos/amiga emulators run smoothly on my linux box, so I just kind of forgot about pixeling because there really was no real substitute for deluxePaint running on linux. I did try the ones available at the time, but none of them felt good to work with.
After a recent discovery of GrafX2 and what other than pixeljoint I decided to give it another go. After a bit of struggle to get started, I did get my first pixelation finished and uploaded here. I still have a lot of trouble with the work flow, but I guess I'll just have to draw a lot more until I find a comfortable way to work with pixels. Also the fact that I'm left handed, but use the mouse with my right, doesn't really help that much when it comes to creative stuff, but these are the short comings I'll just have to live with and in the mean while, give you the best I can.
