Wow, that is a beauty of a piece. The shading and colours are fantastic, as well as the design, and the pose and anatomy look great as well, though it seems pretty awkward :P

I like the flow and the rhythm of the figure; only someone with expertise in figure drawing can capture it really well. I don't understand pixel art too well; but I do understand figure/illustration, and this is a great piece. only thing is her bra (?) (or tanktop? not sure exactely what that is) seems to be going in a straight horizontal line, and though it's absolutely possible to have such posture, i think that it would look more natural for her chest line to follow the arch of her torso, turned slightly to the right (her right) and left side be slightly down, both of them not being as turned as her abdominal area. Just my thoughts; I really don't want to sound like a basher, and I really admire your work; it was just something that crossed my mind because the rhythm of the entire figure is so well cpatured that that small part seem to miss out from the rest a little bit. (I apologize for such a long post.)

Very cool, but it doesnt look good on a darker BG (because I have dark-brown on PJ) because of the spear, but it still kicks ass :P Guess she could do that for real too

Very nice :) I love the re-usage of colors. There's something weird-looking about her left shoulder, not sure if it's just me or not though.

For some reason, the art style reminds me of Pokemon, the trainers.
But still, nothing bad about that, it's a great piece that deserves praise!

thanks, i hadnt thought about a hat, but now that you mention it, she looks naked without one. ill try and figure one into a future edit :Dthe stark darkness is made for it to have a comic-style feel to it, but im going to clean those up a lot when i edit at the advice of helm (who usually gives pretty good advice

I love the pose. It's very statuesque, or something you would find in a sculpture. As usual the coloring is great. Her midwaist seems a little unfinished in my eyes for some reason. Can't put my finger on it though. Also, if it were me, I'd find a way to put her pirate hat some where on the piece. Maybe let it hang off the top of the blade, or her head, although you may run the risk of hiding some of the great material you have finished. Cuz no pirate can be called fin' without his/her hat. Great job as usual...
