Just a simple thing, i was bored and had an hour and a half to kill :P done to demonstrate how i color things on pixelopolis 12 colors edit: took another 25 minutes to edit per tips from bob and helm, now is 13 colors

no they are actully very good if you consider it cuz ive seen some old japanese shows and stuff it looks alot like them thats not bad !! maybe go with a greenish pallete ? like a jungle warrior ?

Wow, that is a beauty of a piece. The shading and colours are fantastic, as well as the design, and the pose and anatomy look great as well, though it seems pretty awkward :P

Very cool, but it doesnt look good on a darker BG (because I have dark-brown on PJ) because of the spear, but it still kicks ass :P Guess she could do that for real too

Very nice :) I love the re-usage of colors. There's something weird-looking about her left shoulder, not sure if it's just me or not though.

For some reason, the art style reminds me of Pokemon, the trainers.

thanks, i hadnt thought about a hat, but now that you mention it, she looks naked without one. ill try and figure one into a future edit :D

the stark darkness is made for it to have a comic-style feel to it, but im going to clean those up a lot when i edit at the advice of helm (who usually gives pretty good advice

)

I love the pose. It's very statuesque, or something you would find in a sculpture. As usual the coloring is great. Her midwaist seems a little unfinished in my eyes for some reason. Can't put my finger on it though. Also, if it were me, I'd find a way to put her pirate hat some where on the piece. Maybe let it hang off the top of the blade, or her head, although you may run the risk of hiding some of the great material you have finished. Cuz no pirate can be called fin' without his/her hat. Great job as usual...
