Another pixelmash effort; more frames than Aliens and took a great deal longer to be honest..!  Hope you'll forgive (as with Aliens) the odd frame with some photoshop filters in and hope you like it..!

fantabulastic: Maybe you got what I said all wrong. The basic message of what I said was: It is (mostly) pixel art but there is room for improvement.

Dennis and E-Maquination: you are both ridiculous snobs.  Your stringent adhereance  to silly rules is a sure path to stagnation.  If everyone keeps doing the same thing with the same techniques the art form will never evolve.  Your comments and aditudes do nothing but hold others back.  Ten years from now you two will still be churning out the same dross while everyone else has moved on.  This video is amazing, accept it for what it is: a great work rendered in blocky squares of color, pixel art at its finest.

Of course this is a pixel art. And an amazing one.. I have the DVD of this film, quite old, and the way you told the story is amazing, i really loved it. I love the film, i love this pixel art. Great work

There are some scenes and effects that were certainly done with automatic filters, but since the author mentioned that in the description and since the vast majority of figures, backgrounds and scenes are obviously handpixelled, i think this can be counted as pixel art in the broader sense. In the stricter sense, it looks sloppily executed, because the individual objects lack depth, AA and texture.
I still like it, because it's a long animation that tells a full story. :)
If the quality of the individual scenes would be closer to "average quality" pixel art, this could still be a hundred times better of course.
