The progress of the sheet of the custom sprites I'm making isn't big, But I managed to finish the running poses. The icon was quickly made, and I used some old background I made for some fake gba screen. Too bad 1 frame cut out my animation. The transparent version is complete ,tough!
Sorry but that's too much work and it would be pointless since this isn't a fangame. i'm doing this for fun, so i'm limiting it to wario. AND, I don't like all the ushroomkingdom after ALL.
His left arm swings too much. Both arms should swing equally. The hat should lag behind Wario's bounce, so that Wario's head is pushing his hat up, then as wario falls his hat falls behind him. It doesn't make sense for it to bounce up as Wario does.
The bounciness of his hat and nose don't really seem to loop well, in my opinion. I don't know how to explain it, it just seems like they're bouncing independently or something. Fantastic job otherwise, though. Good goin'.
The backround looks Sonic-ish... Other than that, cool.

To be honest, I actually liked th 16-bit version a lot better. This one seems too toned down, and dull, even for ds. That aside, I feel the walk animation is very well done. As chanfan already pointed out, problems with the angle of his body are present after a harder look. If you look at the right button on his overalls, it is aligned more toward the viewer. This is fine, but the fact that his right leg almost looks like it is aligned with the other strap of the overall makes it seem kinda odd, as if he is contorting his body to walk. It would be better to move the button and strap further to the right across his chest, or fix the view/angle of his leg, in a side-view sorta way. Bear in mind though, the animation overall is great, and it took me a harder look to find the little things wrong with it. Great job...
Instead of posting such things in my running animation, go to the idle pose on 1st page weekly. It's a style I made out, and inspied from M&L:PiT. It might have alot of colors, but it still has some contrast. Just comment the running >_>
Around, 40, but it changes with the frames. If you really want to see the reduced "16-bit" version here ya go. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b39/Frario/warioraider16.png

Guys, It's suposed to be a DS sprite, not a 16-32bit one
Don't criticize that, please, the 16 colors version looks horrible. So I decided to make it for a DS.

His right leg is wierd looking..It looks like its stuck in the middle of his stomache. You should animate the "body" more because the small movement of the body makes the huge movement of the leg look very abnormal..

I love your soft shading, damn, it makes it look so painterly. How many colors are you using? Faved and 5d.
