Here is the fruits of my labor. And vegetables and meats and random items...

They didn't take that long but were mighty fun to do.

Damnit, I was always hoping I'd get to eat something just like what I saw in video games! Ham doesn't actually have the intact bone sticking out on both sides, and neither does yours really. Oh well.

Doppleganger (Level 5 Rokkyu) at 4/3/2007 6:29:35 PM
That is known as the generic video game meat. Which is what it was at conception anyways. However, I also know it as Ham!

ooshmaster (Level 5 Soldier) at 4/3/2007 2:49:43 PM
What kind of meat is that on the seventh row down six items over? I often saw it in games back in the day. It always looked the same -  a near-cylindrical hunk of meat on a bone that stuck out on either side. I always called it 'mystery meat', because I'd never seen anything like it in real life. I figured it must be some sort of Japanese dish, because all the times I'd seen it were in Japanese games. Some of the games I remember it from are The Legend of Zelda ( it was the 'bait' item), the Final Fight series, and a quick bit of googling brought up the game Lunar: Walking school, a game I'd never heard of. Here's a link to the image from that game.

Ah yes. I'm editing it as I type. Or shortly after, I should say.

Great job, could be used for some rpg game.

Demon (Level 3 Stalker) at 6/9/2006 12:28:42 AM
Those are really kool, doppleganger.  I good piece for a portfolio too!  These would be awesome in a game like Harvest moon where you're a farmer that grows and sells different types of food.

Blick (Level 6 Commander) at 6/6/2006 11:05:32 PM
I think the color usage is iffy in places, such as the blue being used to much on the pumpkin, but it's generally well made.

Totally awesome  fav fav fav

fil_razorback (Level 5 Detective) at 6/3/2006 3:34:31 PM

Great job on these, the ginger is particularly great.

Toby (Level 3 Stalker) at 6/2/2006 9:24:41 PM
Food ftw. Nice style, all items are distinguishable. If they ever make a cooking game for the gba, I hope you'll be on the team ;) The bananas could've been a slight bit yellower to my mind though.

Ensellitis (Level 11 Special Agent) at 6/2/2006 3:18:56 PM
