Oh my goodness, that chubby little cherry blossum tree is so awesome. I definitely just learned something just by looking at it. The blue star's expression reminds me of your monkey av.

Nice, the house looks a little flat, but anyway, with Flying Monkeys and the A-Team Truck, it has to be great :)

Generally cool style throughout, however the star looks very out of place, especially with its white outline. As Larwick said, try unifying everything a little bit more.

Hehe very cool, it'd be ace to be able to stroll around aswel. ^_^My favourite things have to be the little guy and the trees AND THE MONKEY! I mean, i'm sure you realise, but the styles need to merge a bit more i think. Neato.

I should have explained that this is going to be an animated/interactive Super Mario-type setting where you can walk the character around. I just crammed in some of the objects into one scene to match the sizes. There will be several "settings" with different backgrounds for the different objects so a lot of the stuff in this particular scene doesn't really fit.
I'd like to create settings for: Suburbs, Park, City (night), Office (interior), Beach, Ocean, Forest
@iSTVAN/jalonso: I will certainly try and tune the colors once I get the objects more organized. The dude will have a more chipper look once I start animating the objects.
@B the G: Thank goodness someone noticed.
@Pie: I tried brown fur to match Brian's monkey, but I couldn't get it to look good against the red clothing.

This is defiantely your usual art, but I do like it. I really don't have any crits on it. But I love the way those clouds are done, perfecto!

Great layout for a web banner. I don't like the very saturated tones on the grass, clouds and the purple flowers since it doesn't quite match the rest of the colorchoices, this goes for the deepest pink on the car too, but not too much. The windows of the house look unfinished with these colors. I would consider placing something on the trunk of the car and some shrubbery in from of the first floor window to camouflage the "jaggies" in the cars topline. Thise are all nitpickins so I'll get to the most disturbing detail that does need some help. The guy may be sitting or may be standing, its very hard to tell, my guess is standing. I like the clouds and the pink tree. It's rare to see some clean sprite work from you, sedge(not including all your old icon art), but I really enjoy what you've done with the monkey and yourself. The only things I dont like are the greens and the gradientness/colours used in the ground tiles.
