This has definitely been index painted but I agree with 'big brother' about the sky and all credit to you if you modified the mirrored top have to create the reflection using the basic index shading tools. It's pretty darn brilliant.

THe water somehow doesn't look right to me, maybe a bit of a transparency on the reflections? but overall very impressive.

I'll believe it is pixelled by hand. I've had images where my colour count was high because I used layers and opacity techniques to help with my shading. It definitely isn't pure but it is pixel art. And regardless of anything else, a nice image as well

Mmm ..too many almost identical colors....The picture is very good, but next time don't say it's completely pixel by pixel if it isn't :/

IMHO it is fake, it looks too computer generated, and the 201 colour count isn't boding too well for you

Even if its not completly handpixeled, I absolutely fell in love with this piece. im a fan of mirror effects.

Saying you did something pixel by pixel doesn't really mean you didn't use filters or tools like soften or slice. All it tells us is that you didn't shrink down a digital painting. In it's purest form (the one generally celebrated here), the artists tend to use nothing more than pencil, line, circle, and the selection tools, reusing colors to keep them at a minimum.
IMO, the dither on the sky does not look hand-done. The colors are too gradual and the patterns scream indexed radial gradient.

i would believe the top half was done by hand... but something about the bottom refleected half just seems computer generated. If you truely are this talented why not post some more works?
