gLitChed :: Pixel Art Detail

as you can see by the preview image, this piece started out as just a small 4 color image.

warning: kinda long story ahead.

so i was looking through a sketchbook of mine, and found a sketch. it was of a sub-boss for an abandoned( optimistically on hiatus) game idea of mine. supposedly the boss was somehow a mix between a figment of the main characters imagination, and a computer virus.

anyways, i decided the boss would be cool to sprite. i had been influenced lately by, oddly enough the " missingno" from the early pokemon series. this was coupled with the idea of making my own " glicth monster" for an 8 bit rpg of mine that im playing around with.

i decided that i would make the small sprite into a larger piece. i wanted it to be a bit different than most of my other work. i decided to pixel it in double high pixels.

the finished piece as a whole, really doesnt satisfy me. the initial image i somewhat like. as am i satisfied with the thought process. unfortunately im not as satisfied with the image.
