One of a series of monsters I'm working on just for practice. 27 colors (the vampire is 8, and the background is 19), 64x85 pixels. The concept of the vampire walking around while stuck in his broken coffin comes from a Halloween costume I had a few years ago, although the design of the vampire himself is new. The background was whipped up quickly (maybe a little too quickly) just to give this guy somewhere to walk around.

Wow, thanks everybody! The rest of the tombstone background is in my pixel art gallery on my site if anybody's interested. I like the tombstones themselves, but I'm very new at trying to design grass and dirt tiles, so they're a little rough, maybe a little too basic.

Haha, I love this enemy. That is very clever. The design itself deserves a 5/5. But let's ignore that, and let's look at the fluid animation and masterfully placed pixels. There's even detail for the living of the coffin. It looks very oldschool, and I love this very much. 5/5.
