AH, this looks great. A real improvement on the edited one. Why cut off the top of the head though? It'd look much better with all his head there. I think you could neaten some of the hair on his forehead a little more perhaps.

Lots of good expressiveness in the eyes and mouth, and the hair is nice and chaotic-looking, not too uniform and graphicky.
