Top Pixel Art - September 2006 (#10)
this is really cool!, i like the character design and the colors and shading are brilliant, and the border os very nice as well, overall, excellent!
September 2006 was the month with the most awesome pixel arts ever seen for this to be only in tenth.
Reminds me from Avatar the lasta airbender... Maby because the arrow on hes head...
I love it, it's perfect: pixeling, shading, composing. All is good!

Ah okay, sorry for the unecissary crits. 
And ptoing, that edit looks sweet. Probs cus of the higher contrast and stuff... 
Looks great. However i think this could seriously benefit from some dramatic depth effects. Basically, at the moment the colouring of his closest hand and the top of his leg make them seem they are on the same plane, when obviously the hand is far closer. Of course it's dramatic already, but some higher contrast between shades would be great (or more shades, seeing as it's quite a large piece *looks at colour count* wait a second.. maybe not. It may be possible to recycle a number of the red, blue, or brown shades used elsewhere in the image for the body's shading). Perhaps add some highlights on the front of his fist, rather than just at the edges. And obviously i'd prefer it to be AAd (just lightly), or at least where there are blinding jaggies.
Lol, i think i've exhausted that for now. Good piece, but just doesnt tick every box for me yet.
as close to perfect as can be achieved. The fact that you did not AA just makes this awesome execution.
That's excellent ! I really like the light effects ! Palette is also well done and the frame is superb !
