Well with the reopening of pixelation there has been an influx of these self portrait avatar thingies and I didn't want to be left out, so here's mine!
Before anybody says it, yes it looks a lot like pixelblink, so I guess that means either it doesn't look like me or else pixelblink looks a lot like me........poor bloke!!
As the c64 was the computer that I grew up with and probably the first for me to tamper with artistically, I decided to go for the C64 look with each pixel measuring one high and two wide, also I used an initial pallete of the original sixteen C64 colours, only used seven for the C64 portion of the portrait, so then I altered the rest to suit transitional effects, still only using 16 colours in total, but not all C64 originals!!
Had a lot of fun making it using Graphics Gale.
