This was originally for a forum pixel battle, I hadn't realised the deadline, so ended up quickly doing something in literally an hour, considering the time I spent on it I thought it was pretty good. I guess it was a bad idea posting it on here though, all I got was bad comments :( Maybe they didn't realise it was speed-pixelled.

Decided to delete the old one and edit it more. Deleted a horrible disfugured robot that looked like frankenstein's monster, altered the colouring, added rain, extended canvas, added a tree, changed background and did loads of general changes :)

I´d love to see an apocalyptic BG instead of the traditional "tree and grass". But yeah... it looks great! Makes me want to play some old Mega Drive or Super Famicom games!!

Ooo...I like the tree. I would have the grass overhang the dirt ledge a little bit. It looks a bit unnatural at the moment.

 

I think you could do a better job on the clouds too. Maybe some more detail.
