Top Pixel Art - January 2007 (#2)
The smoothness of movement in this is amazing. Every little detail, from the wrinkling of the wings to the shifting of scales on the beast's tail, is perfect. Seriously, this deserves an award or something.

I work at a computer camp for little kids and I use this as an example of why 3D isn't always better than 2D. This has been my favorite pixel art for years.
hmm id like to see fire but i know it would have to be more colors and it would throw the pic off

Wow, just drawing this would have been REALLY hard. Animating it? IMPOSSIBLE! Also, i noticed all the pixels are moving.
I'm late on this piece (2007) but, Oh Woah! How long did it take you to complete it ? His hand gesture make me remember Kraid :D. There's a little pixel dot blinking near the end of the head tentacles.

Simply amazing animation....must have been a real pain to do the tail, with all those spikes!!
I like the colours and textures, but the animation looks strange. Some parts move when they shouldn't. Anyway, impressive art.
this is very very good and has loooot of detail, but i would love to see a version with more frames so that the animation is perfectly smooth :o
