No doubt impressive and a treat to see zoomed, props. Badassbill does make a very important point that should be considered if ever this gets an edit.

I think you've tried forcing youself into using the whole colour ramp as often as you could, and it's cost you in areas. The tail and hair dont realy have a defined light source, and the tail lacks the depth that the head has. It's a nice piece, but a bit more effort into the tail and hair would have punched it up a notch.

holy shit, nice work. you definately have this shading thing down. i do see a few flaws, but they are hardly noticable past the fantasic shading

Er well.. YOU WIN.
Upon closer inspection perhaps some more dithering styles could have been used in the face. It's hardly noticable though, so not such a big issue. The hair shows some bittyness on 1x, but with the colours available it's done very well. Top marks! I'm sure Zeo will be impressed.
