My first VIC20 picture (Old Commodore computer before the C64)
A trimmed down (for memory reasons) version was used in this demo.

Ah the old Vic20. I think I still have mine lurking in my parents attic gathering dust and turning a vivid shade of yellow.
Great use of the limitations. There's not a lot of flexibility with them stretched pixels but you've done a great job.

true masterpiece.. and thus faved

oh, before someone else complains about a 'bicubic-photoshop-stretched-jpeg look' or believes this to look kinda streched (i want your drugs, boys!), please go to the clueshop! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vic_20#Basic_features)

Looks fantastic. Great golden palette.

hehe, this is great, considering the crazy limitations of the VIC20! Next step is ZX81 graphics I suppose ;)

After trying a peice with these limitations on my own. i have to commend you ptoing, this is masterwork! I Personally found the limitations incredably hard to work with when i tried.

Maybe it's just me, but it has that bicubic-photoshop-stretched-jpeg look, for some reason. They way you have smoothed the lines detracts from the sharpness of (most) low color-count pieces.

I think it has something to do with the banding, but with pixels so wide, what can you do, really?

Now those are some truly wide pixels!

I wish I could see an animated version of him dancing. :-)

Nice use of six colors.
Was a blue for the eyes really needed though?

Anyway, I like it; dancing skeleton. Needs a tophat though.:P
