Here it is, my entry for this weeks' challenge! Thanks to Frankiesmileshow for such a great theme (you a tarot fan, Frankie?) :D Trivia: the only 'green' color in the picture, is actually a pure gray tone, but it looks greenish due to the rest of the palette. How our senses are easily deceived!

I can't see any greens. I guess my senses aren't as easily.

...or maybe it has to the with the fact that I'm partially colourblind. :P
But just out of curiosity, where was the green supposed to be?

Wow. Just awesome. I can't think of a single thing wrong with it. I mean, the lightning looks a little flat, but hell, I consider that part of the style of it. The moon, tower, background, all very, very nice.

This is such a good picture that I may even give up this weeks comp... I love the motion it has, those people falling there really add much personality to this perfectly rendered picture. Only thing I don't quite like, is the weird shaped lightning, its a bit overreacted compared to the rest of the piece. But overall it has nice HAGAR feel to it.

I really like that "chiseled" style (bricks, wings...) and the adorable use of the palette for the shading and the background stuff. Also, the moon's corona adds nicely to the atmosphere (though I think it needs more clouds in real life, since it's an atmospheric (pun unintended

) effect). The only thing disturbing my eye is the crooked treetop far left. Your installment comes very close to the 16th card of the Major Arcana

This is too good to ignore. I really love how brilliant the browns are in comparison to everything else. The palette is worked extremely well and borders on the effects I would, one day, like to achieve. Really good stuff, I'll have to fav it.
