I admire your work -- and since I'm a mockup fan, I can't avoid falling in love with this one from you -- really well done, it reminds me of Lomax maybe.

I'd tap that.  The only piece of criticism I have would be about the highlight on the grass..

I'd play that asap.

This is truly a beautiful work of art!

You really captured an amount of depth in this. I really like how well the subtle shading works on the grass in the foreground. It makes it look extremely soft.

My only qualm is the bottom half of the platforms. They tile perfectly fine but for some reason it's not lined up in the bottom left area. It's only noticeable at 2x but a qualms a qualm. Haha.

6/6 and fav'd. If I ever have to do some platformer games, I'm going to check back with this to see what exactly needs doing to make it stand out as something spectacular.

Tjis is by far the most beautiful platformer mockup I've ever seen. Too bad I can only fav it once.

Since you already said the tile mismatch was due to sloppiness, I guess I don't need to mention it. :P

But, I'm a little confused about the trees; the middle layered ones infront of the blue. Now, I understand that there's a kinda of cool blue light comming from the back. (Which I think is awesome.) But there's these little set of tiles that seem to conflict with that back light source right between the tree branches. It's like a puffy mass of leaves right there, were the light source is comming from the front.

I dunno, I could be wrong about them I suppose, but they feel off or conflicting... maybe they weren't planned as much as the beautiful ground.  Though, doing tree tops are a pain in the butt anyhow. :P

I am aware of several misalignments in the tileset, but it has more to do with me getting sloppy while skinning the level, as the tree has a set of tiles with which it connects perfectly: )
And, yes, some of you who invoked the name of Henk Nieberg have correctly recognized the source of my inspiration... Though hopefully this game will play better than most Henk's games did: )

Almost reminds me of lomax(ps1 platformer, henk neiborg), really nice.

one thing i see wrong IMO is is that you can see some cut off line, in the tiles under near, where that girl is standing,

Im speechless about those bg's.
If i had to complain about one thing it would have to be that when zoomed in the grey highlights on the grass stands out abit to much. But not on 1x so it all depends on how it will be used.

This is henk nieborg quality.

After having such a hard work tiling, I can appreciate the work put into this, as well as the creativity. Looks great. My only critique would be the tree that the little girl is front of. The dramatic change of light source from left to right, make the tree's bark look a bit skin-like in texture. Could be the darkest color in the tree, but I'm no expert. Looks great anyhow...
