another week, another challenge. I thought it would be fun to do a iso-tile mock up. I was wrong. The style was very loose-ly based on a cross over of "FF tactics" and "Lunar Knights". The scene of a cut down forest was supposed to be funny... maybe it is, maybe it isnt.

I think that the border on the tiles is quite ok. It would look dull otherwise.

I liked the older trees better, even though they weren't fully iso.

Add a log cabin and I'm sold. =)

hahaha.. maybe cut down trees isn't the best thing to draw for an earth day tribute. but then again if we assume you don't glorify cutting trees, but instead portray it in a mere fashion to provoke thoughts about saving the forest then it all makes sense :D.

There IS a border visible, and there IS this crazy shadow with a border in it too :D, and the dude IS kind of distorted and crazy looking.. but somehow it all adds up to make an oddly attractive pixelart piece.

is it just me who gets aesthetic pleasure from 'imperfect' pixel art??
