Yea made this one level playable, so I decided to take screenshots of 4 different places on the level. Hope you guys like it, was definately fun to make.

Yeah, like BB said, this reminds me a lot of Keen Dreams. What do Spartans have to do with fighting killer fruit though? I do like the colours on the apple sprite.

EDIT: It seems like Spar is some sort of supermarket. This was lost on me.

Commissioned work? I like the overall atmosphere and the artistic style is also very nice. I only find the sprites a little hard to distinguish (maybe for size or for contrast, don't know).

The apple should have been a rotten one (with worms coming out etc.) for that's what the "deeper meaning" of the game probably should be to have at least a slight marketable background (fight against old food, being in favor of fresh, nutritious food)...

Wow that looks awesome. What does it have to do with "Spar" supermarkets? :D Is it some kind of advertisment game? I'd play it immediately.

like i mentioned previously, the tiling is great, and everything flows together really well. my only thought was that you could have made some little puddles/streems flowing into the ground that you would have to jump over, to make the level a little less easy.
