Walk animation is similar to main hero's walk animation in The Neverhood game.

The yellow buttons on his pants seem to disappear for some period of the cycle as if by some magic trick done with hand when moved over his pelvis.

adarias: Yeah, I am aware of that, I considered taking away some colors from the face. It doesn't really bother me.  Usually I keep an evenly spread rendering for my sprites in games keeping things consistent. I'll experiment a bit with clothes by adding some colors. (though I have to keep the pants pure blue and the shirt pure grey/white, guybrush doesn't normally color mix haha :) )

face seems a little overrendered, body a little under. i think you could borrow a color from the face and use it to bolster the white/gray ramp.

Nice. The floppy arms remind me a little of Captain Jack Sparrow. The best thing about the Pirates of the Carribean films is the way Depp walks.

Thanks guys :D When making it I had "I want to be pirate" in mind when guybrush started out, that was the reason for his attitude in the walk.

B.O.B: haha, I knew someone was gonna not like my selout (intended more as aa). :) (And play Monkey Island!)

Christopher: I love B.O.Bs mario walk, I don't quite see the resemblance, maybe it's the arms, both quite long and swingy. B.O.B's animation level is way beyond mine. I based my walkcycle on animation tutorials Fool gave me. It's about time I started getting more into animation.

Kobun: oops, I intented him in the age of the games, o well he always had trouble getting drinks since he looks young haha. Maybe it's the big head in mine which is inspired by lucas arts.

Krysis: This one was made after MI4's/MI1's guybrush :D

He really looks awsome. I'd push a few pixels on the facial area, but that is just because I prefer the MI3 Guybrush. It's a matter of taste.  Anyhow, you did a great job and you should be very proud.

Heh, yeah, Christopher, thats what I thought too! And Buloght, this is great. Love the bounce, and STILL haven't played Monkey island yet. My only issue with the animation is the gray, selout splotchy-ness on the arms and legs. Maybe try experimenting with a block-style coloration, or  pure gray outline for a cleaner look...other wise, nice character....

It's a very lilting walk...suits Guybrush to a tee.  Nice subtle bounce in his pantaloons.

For some reason it reminded me of The B.O.B's Mario.

I dont know if that fits Guybrush's presonality, but its damn good.
