Why does he/she/it look so sad when you zoom in?

That shading use is amazing- you really got the roundness of the bones across. Well done.

I really like this, save for the outlines inside the body.
Outlines outside are ok, but putting them inside, especially in a sprite this small unables you to put more detail, since a lot of space is being taken up by the black.

Good job on the colors and shading.
