A self portrait - I wanted to see if I could create something semi-realistic. I tried at first to paint over an image, but found that just eyeballing it worked better.

Apparently, although I wasn't familiar with the terminology, I used a technique called 'selective outlining'. Thanks to Jalonso for pointing this out to me. You learn something new every day.

It's far from perfect, but I think it's decent enough.

Edit: I took some of the criticism I recieved and tried to make a few minor improvements to the piece.

This is a cool and stylish portrait, but it doesn't look a whole lot like you according to the photo you posted. (you have rounder, less angular features, deeper eye sockets, bigger nose, etc.)

I still dig it, though :D

could you show a reference or a picture of how you look, cause to me, the most iportant thing to a portrait is to be able to recognize te person

Afraid I'm not sure what 'selout' is. I'm not so familiar with the terminology - I just do art as it comes to me. I'll edit the description, though.
