These icons have been made exclusively. I will not be accepting the use of these icons on any other sites than the following: www.pixeljoint.com www.phrasedetectives.org USE OF THESE ICONS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION IS NOT PERMITTED. I needed something to pixel, and it was the only thing i could think of so i just weeeeent for it. These could be used as examples for a community challenge perhaps. Was really fun to do! :D I'm really hungry now. Individual colour counts: Eye 3rd place haloween trophy = 23 Pumpkin 1st place haloween trophy = 20 Gold, silver & bronze red iso cube trophies = 17 Skull 2nd place & candle participation haloween trophies = 16 Handshake award = 15 Gold, silver & bronze 1st-3rd trophies = 14 4th-10th trophies = 14 Badge and star awards = 9 Moneybag donators trophy = 9 Ribbons = 8 UPDATE: 16/08/07 - Added the star, badge and handshake awards. All the stuff here is HEAVILY inspired by the other dudes' awesome original awards, without them i wouldn't've been able to make these. Hmm.. but they are for the site! So yay. UPDATE:18/10/07 3am - Updated palettes to make them look much more shiny and also touched up some a little. Not sure how easy it'll be for sedge to update for the site, but if he can he'll probs do it along with the pixelween trophies (which i'm keeping secret for now). UPDATE: 18/01/08 12pm - Made a moneybag for the donators, and added the pixelween trophies to the lot.

Just to warn you, saying 'it's not cool to remake sprites someone else made' IS saying i didn't make these from scratch. Of course the idea of making trophies isn't original, they're just trophies. They don't need to be.
Keep it cool, and be careful with your wording next time.

The Isobox trophies were my first idea for the 1st 2nd and 3rd prizes, but they seemed too seperated from the rest of the trophies etc etc. I liked them though so i kept them in. The little pixelly trophy that was there is gone now, but it was just something i made that i thought i might aswel include. :P

Holy crap, they're awesome. And yeah, surprisingly similar lol. Great minds think alike? Yeah, im drawing these on the pale blue background so i cant really see the selout problems, will fix that. You're right, the star on that sucks. I can fix it though, with time. :)

Stars look good, interesting I was making similar looking stars just a week ago :)

I don't like handshake selout. Handshake is rendered well though. PJ award is nice but maybe there's a way to improve the star. I know it's hard for that size but...

I would use numbers on top3 trophies because when anyone see them together with 4-10 it's not obvious what do they mean.

Also I didn't get the last part by ThereIsNoCure. Why do I speak english? Было бы гораздо проще писать по-русски :)

Edit: Also I must add I want to use them even more now. Without special reason. They are just really adorable.

I just wish there were numbers instead of boxes. Hope I'm not too annoying.

Made the numbers on the ribbons a lil bigger (not much though, i dunno if it's very easy to read.. might change the size of the whole ribbon circle if it isnt). Also changed the colours of the iso cubes and stuff. I think they look a lil better with the red ribbon's palette. I also changed the length of the big ribbons a bit, to add some variance, and made the lil green one look more like the others.
Thanks guys.. when i'm sure i guess i'll split them up and send them to sedgey. :] Perhaps it would be possible to change them on your profile, to different sets by different people, like themes.

I like that the trophies get more elaborate, rather than just change colors. That first place is so fucking badass. Alternately: Make the first place one of those 5 foot tall karate dojo trophies, and make 4-10 those puny little league "everybody's a winner" trophies. Assuming you don't have to be from America to get that last part.

About the iso boxes, i really felt there should be something there to signify pixel-art, is it the colour or... well... what do you think it is about them that makes them seem out of place? I think the largest one could do because the highlight around it is lost in the gold, therefore it doesnt feel as attached... but yeah. Thanks for pointing it out though... i'll see what i can do.
