Excellent color choice. The red stands out nicely against the different shades of blue. It adds a certain calm feeling to the image that black shadowing just couldn't do.

oh my god. I can't believe you can do this with 3 colors. I've never seen pixel art like this. I agree, definitely unique.

Quirky in the sense of it being tremendously different and original from most pixel art; not in the being weird just for the sake of being weird...

Wow, my first edible (apparently) pixel art piece.
Woah wicked cool. Its amazing what detail you've put in with just three colours. I think that darkening the red would pull it more into the piece buts its hard to say...
