Haven't submitted anything for awhile since getting back to the UK, so I thought I would do something for the weekly challenge. Not to sure if this fits in, but it's a whiskey drinking contest/showdown kinda thing.....

Lovely take on the theme, as always. Colors are a bit raw, but the guys in the back are teh shit!

The "Howdy" word bubble is basically saying "Hello there. Care for a challenge?" (but maybe it hasn't quite worked.) Funnily enough, I was originally going to have her wink but changed my mind after I drew the hat as I thought it might hide the opened eye, but I will try and see what I can do with the wink on sunday night (have to prepare for new job on monday

.)

Actually..instead of "Howdy" maybe I could have her say "Next" instead....

I would definitely say this fits the theme--my guess is that this was a much more popular "showdown" than any other kind

. Great idea, and the expression of the guy on the table is hilarious. Might be just me, but I'm not a huge fan of the word bubble, as it doesn't seem to fit with what's going on... maybe have her winking instead?

(The colours on the preview and actual image do differ slightly. I may change the preview altogether...)

Still not sure if this piece fits in with the challenge, but there wont be time to do another.
