The transparency overlay you're using for your signature is certainly jacking the colors way up. Ditto for the shadows on the ground, assuming they too are trans. overlays.

What are those very faint lines running vertically through the dirt? They give me pause.

I'm sorry for the colors but I don't know all the rules about pixel art, next time I'll consider.

don't wanna be the asshole in here, but for me thats very very borderline in terms of pixelart/npa: we've got 604 colors here.. less than 256 colors is not a submitting rule, but rule #6 'each pixel is placed by hand' and the colors/palette field (2-256) implies this for me

Everything looks a little unfinished, but that's to be expected since it's such a large piece. Nice start though, maybe you can continue with it once you learn a few more tricks (colour conservation first, heheh).
