This was human facial practice, palette practice, and shading practice.
As you can see in the WIPs I add more colors to the face for AA, which resulted with a smooth look. I was first originally going to leave it at 5 colors, but I wanted something smoother, and have nice color choices. I'm finally getting the hang of working with my hues of color, making them more slightly mixed. Didn't come out very realistic, as stated below.
